Well, it was a good conference. I learned a lot about the new features of Sql Server 2005, especially the BI features that have been overhauled in a major way in this release. Didn't like Orlando or Atlanta for that matter. Very hot and muggy!! I'm not used to having all my pores open at the same time!! Glad to be back though. I'm a real home-body and family man, so I don't really enjoy the travel.

This is a wonderfully readable history of the Peloponnesion War by Victor Davis Hanson. Definitely for the history buff. He explicates the war chronologically, but also covering its major themes. The chapter titles give you a hint of his unique insights: "Fear", "Fire", "Disease", "Terror", "Armor", "Walls", "Horses", "Ships", "Climax", "Ruin?".
